Dont wear an opposing team's jersey to any stadium.

Parking.  Not really, Parking is expensive but very easy.  Nothing around the stadium except parking lots.

Food:

Go to the outfield:  All along the outfield is all the good vendors.

Suggestions:

Federal Donuts (They also sell fried chicken) (left field corner)

The Bull Lazinski's BBQ - Get pulled pork sando.  I got this the last three times i went to a game. (right center field)

Crab Fries - if that is your thing.  (center field)

Things to avoid:

Phillies fans.  :funny1:

Aramark food.

"The Schmitter" sandwich is also worth trying.  Its basically a cheesesteak on a kaiser with lettuce, tomato, a slice of salami, and "special sauce".  I think it's located right out near the right field foul pole. But I haven't been to a game yet this year, so it couldv'e moved.  It's also pricey at $11, I think.

And don't park in the stadium lots if you want to tailgate.......grill and drink beers.  Not allowed in the stadium lots and I think its pretty strickly enforced.  I usually take the subway to the games, but if I do end up driving I park in one of the private lots east of the stadium on Pattison, where tailgating is permitted/tolerated.

Major League games too expensive for me. Luckily I have the Pawtucket Red Sox AAA team 30 minutes away and tix begin at $8 for adults and $5 for kids. Many times you will see a member of the Boston Red Sox rehabbing there.

You can save money on parking by taking the subway line. The last station on the Broad Street line comes out right at the stadium complex. They hold a couple of trains at the end of the game for you as well.

Eat at the Xfinity Live across the street before you go in. Food is better, and can be cheaper if you work at it.

Looking forward to my first Pawsox game sometime this summer. 'Bout 50 minutes for us. I love Minor League ball.

You are gonna love the stadium...they put millions into rehabbing it. I remember years ago when it was a dump. I prefer to sit on a blanket on the lawn in left field with my glove. Caught a ball there once.

Great ballpark

Great food

Easy parking

Reasonable prices all around

Not too much side-show entertainment

Awesome mascot

Fun Fun Fun

I tell you coming from 70 miles north of NYC it's easier to drive all the way down to Philly than it is to go to a Yankees game.  Much better experience.  We left the stadium at 4:00ish and traffic wasn't an issue.

Philly fans, I owe you an apology.  I'm sorry.

Good to hear!

The thing about Philly fans is the reputation lives on.  That crap is not tolerated any more.  Sure there will be an arse at every game, but they really have cracked down on stupidity.

Plus having a bad team this year helps keep the crazies away.

sorry we weren't able to meet up...I could barely walk yesterday and probably shouldn't have gone to the game. :(
