While I am sorry that happened to you. The idiot that did it is to blame. Not Jane's Addiciton.

That is true. I am sorry for blaming the band for the idiot. It's not thier fault.

I apologize to Jane's Addiction. Your show was one I am really glad I stayed on the field for. There was standing
room only - people as far as I could see. I've never seen the field so packed. This was my 5th Vibes and
I know I always say it :lmao:
but this was The Best Vibes Ever!!!!

Thank you for your kind words. I don't know wtf I was thinking. You are
absolutely right.

I couldn't agree more. This is my first time on the board and I was wondering what the true Deadheads thought of Janes Addiction. I agree with you. The Vibes got started by bringing in bands that embodied the spirit of Jerry. I could have thought of a hundred bands better fit to headline Saturday night. How about Petty, Mumford & Sons, ZZ top, Blues Traveler, Steve Miller, Bob Segar, Dylan, to name a few. I'd have dug Kings Of Leon if they wanted to bring in a younger vibe. I hope whoever makes the line up next year doesn't do the same thing and bring in nine inch nails.

Many of the "true Deadheads" that I know loved Jane's Addiction. Certainly not all, but statistically enough to say they were a WIN. :smile:

I wonder if your list o' bands really embody the spirit of Jerry or jerry would want to hear...or just you:coffee;

Variety is the spice of life...I like the unexpected...BUT I just walked away when Jane's came on and did other stuff...can't see EVERY band at a fest so the ones I don't especially care for are great opportunities for social mingling.
