I took my son to the Friday Vibes show for his 16th birthday present. Him being a true Vermont small town hick and me being a transplant from CT 30+ years ago. Neither of us has ever been to anything that big. My question is: How big was that Friday crowd? Can anybody give a fairly accurate number based on day ticket sales + camping passes?

Yeah about 20 minutes into the set, the whole area by the soundboard opened up. I think partially because the view there was pretty limited, but it also seemed like a lot of the crowd wanted nothing to do with the Jane's Addiction set. Their loss!!

Keep in mind that the stage has moved up a bit. The stage used to be next to the bandshell, now it is in front of it.

It's called being old and boring. But what can I say. I left 5 songs into Furthur and I thought it was a great decision.

I'd agree if we didn't see a bunch of younger kids also leaving.

If I wasn't having fun hanging with some great folks during Furthur, I probably would have been gone during the first set myself. So glad I caught Bethel and SPAC as well.
