Leaving me with just one family member (from my side) at our wedding- my other brother. Brett's family is also super religious, and yet both his parents, his sister and his grandmother are coming, and I bet all the cousins would come too if we could afford to invite them.

Sigh. Why can't my family get over themselves and just be cool?

Hopefully, in time, they will come to realize and accept the love that you and Brett share. And at that realization, I'm sure they will be very apologetic for not being there for you all along...
