Worked out yesterday. No cardio. Will do cardio upon arriving home this evening, me and The Dude.

How many does yous guys dead lift and squat? I think I am not pushing myself enough perhaps. Doing 140lb dead lifts and 130lb front squats.


135 for dead lifts. I could probably go a lot higher than this, but the lower back is one muscle group I'm not willing to push my luck with.

245 for squats


though I ain't did shit in three days, so who knows what I'll lift when I get back in. :rolling:

Nice. I think I am going to load the bar with 200 and see what happens. I don't want a back injury, though.

i think dhs is the sqaut master round these parts...you should prolly ask him, prolly.
i do plie squats (1 set of 20 reps) holding a 15lb dumbell in front of me & wearing ankle weights to help keep me stable.
i also do some sort of pilates butt lifting squat thingie (2 sets of 30 reps each) & some other front squat thingie (1 set of 20 reps) holding two 10 lb dumbells.

Front squats I hold the bar across my chest because my wrists don't bend all the way back. Especially the broken one. So I hold it with a "X" grip across my chest/shoulders.

Knocked out my 2 mile yawg in 17:35 yesterday. A little slower than last time but I did nave to stop and tie my shoe. Sio...

I forget what I have scheduled for tonight but I'll do it. Dong lifts as well.

Dong lifts are great, Im up to 7 pounds and 12 reps. :coffee:


Joining the gym around the corner (5 minute walk). They have a full juiz bar, weights, punching bags, speed bags and a dong lift area.

$20 a month. Grunting allowed.

man, I really need to do a better job at staying consistent. Last few weeks have been a whirlwind of departing my old job, starting a new job, starting school. Sio, it seems like every week I miss a muscle group or two.

I like some soreness the day after working out, but if I miss a muscle group for just one week, massive soreness ensues. My legs are freaking screaming right now from this morning's wookout. Not looking forward to what I'm sure will be even worse soreness tomorrow morning. I did up my squat weight to 265 as ski season is only two months away, but it's clear, I have to train each muscle group at least one day a week or the soreness goes through the roof.

gotta get back to only 1 ain't did shit per week

I pretty much gorilla'd out over the weekend. Also got my two point two miles down to a personal best of 17:19.
