didn't make it to yoga last night, went for a walk instead...although the girl I walked with wimped out after only like 45 minutes...but alas it was a lil cardio.
I realized last night my calves are tiny again...I haven't used the elip. machine or tapped in months...I want to start building them up again...I miss calves of steel.
I'm leaving for Bikram in a half hour...110 degree room with 40% humidity...Sometimes I wonder if there's something wrong with me that I love Bikram so much.

went back during lunch. 30 min elliptical
thinking when it comes to actual weights that I need to up my weights and lower my repetitions to improve fat loss. at least that's what I've been reading on the trons. lifting heavy weights is apparently better for fat loss than cardio. cardio only helps with calorie deficit

I dunno, I would assume that a calorie deficit is all you would need to burn fat. I don't think that heavier weights are any better or worse than cardio. I'll take your word for it, though.
Chin Ups > Hang Clean and Press > Pull Throughs > Abs. 2 mile jog tonight.

Heavier weights will rip your muscles, causing your body to synthesis more proteins. Fats are needed in the process of the body to do this. So it is an effective way to burn fat. However, I don't know if this is better than cardio for burning flabbery.
Could be. Could be.

3'11'd is onto it
the other fact is that many trainers suggest that the Metabolism rate following resistance training stays elevated for about 24 hours, where as metabolism returns to normal fairly quickly after cardio.
who knows. I've been stuck at 190# for about six months. my clothes are certainly looser than six months ago though and I feel in much better shape. Just feel I've got a lot of stubborn belly fat that won't go away. Did give up the booze midweek again last week and I am trying to eat fewer calories. we'll see...

Belly fat is wicked tough to remove. You are literally fighting your body, as the body likes to have that cushion "in case shit".
What I did, and will do again to get back to the cut 6er, is eat 6 small meals a day of super healthy food. Nothing other than what the body needs basically.
You want to burn all your calories for the day.
No food 3 hours before bed, no exceptions.
Don't drink and THEN eat. Eat first, wait a while before having your vodka/seltzer.
Good luck brahnold, DHS.

did another half hour cardio last night after dinner
ain't did shit this morning. legs too sore from three days of twoadays and the squats and dead lifts from yesterday.
been reading up a bit on body types. pretty certain I'm an endomorph, which means I'm going to have to work a lot harder on the diet side of things to get the results I want
