I rode 3.25 miles on the trails after wook yesterday. I'd like to get that to 7 miles a day.

Yes, it's about creating the right loop and doing it fast enough to allow the 7 miles. Pedal further, pedal faster. You're correct, breaux

No, but it is technical riding and not much in the way of downhills. The time also includes me starting the watch, putting it in my hydropack...gloves helmet and take off. This is not road biking we're talking here.

But I'm back in the game and did a pretty decent Zumba class tonight. Step tomorrow and then strength training wed. Yup.

I kicked ass tonight- oh the shoulders, arms, abs, outer things, hams, and glutes. I predict a lot of "ouchie, oooh, ow, yows" on Friday- usually feel it most on the second day. Really proud of myself, I've been working really hard this week coming off the strangecreek sabbaticle.

I think you need to rephrase the question. You know he ain't doin that shit every day. Off days are central to the getting buff the :halfstar: way

How about: Are you supposed to do insanity every:day?

1. The workouts, so far, range from 25 minutes (the recovery day (Thursday) and the fit test day (every other Monday)) to about an hour (pure cardio and then cardio abs). But I am only 3 weeks in. I know it changes for the second month, but I don't know what those workouts are yet.

2. Sundays are the off day.

The only day I have missed so far is today because I woke up late. But I'll do it when I get home.

OK. Insanity update...I am losing more weight than I wanted to. I didn't want to get below 165, but I am at 163 right now. The good news is that my body fat is almost down to 12.9%...currently at 13.2%. I started at high 15%.

The good news is that these Burton Batons have almost 300 calories in them. So that weight loss shouldn't hold up.

Starting my 4th week in a row. Without missing a single workout. I am going to miss next Saturday because I'll be at Phish, but that is life.

And I completed the entire warmup. First time ever. So stoked. I might go for a jog one day this week, just to see my time. But, I have Insanity every day and 2 soccer games. Might be too much.

Kind of frustrated, haven't gotten the workouts in again this week that I want to. Just so much to do! I have to reincorporate running up blue hills on my way home from work if I know I have things at home that I need/want to do that evening.

So my step instructor says too us "I didn't have ya;ll up to the regular intensity today because of the heat." Damn it- and here I thought that my not feeling like I was going to throw up was because I was getting better at it.
