Have you ever gotten involved with the institutions committee? If so what was your experience like?

I got on the committee down here in Palm Beach county yesterday but there were no commitments open so I just signed up to be a speaker when people need it.

I really admire the people from my home group who are involved with this so i thought I'd give it a shot...

I spoke at the Bridgeport jail once. The best part was walking out. Nobody else had that luxury.

where I'm at there are shitloads of treatment centers and sober houses...South florida has that "market" cornered. There really is a need for people to bring meetings in..jails are a different story..lol

actually..i would probably bring a meeting to a jail if need be...
