wtf, medium rare is not rare and the reason should not be the thick part takes longer to cook.

you are a gdmf steakhouse.

first time it was raw

then you sent it back 1/2 well and 1/2 raw

the third try was even worse, but out of the 3 plates I managed to get some medium rare.

you should just be glad this was on the company and not my dime.

this was at a Capitol Grille,  not the best day for them guess, our waitress even managed to drop one of our desserts on the floor.

cheescake, like toast, lands top side down.

as for other steak houses, i've been to many and a lot more than once.

For steakhouse $$ I def want my steak exactly how I want it. But if I want it more than medium I shouldn't be there in the f-ing 1st place.

I'd much rather deal with an undercooked steak. Go out where I used to live, in Idaho... They have no concept at all what a medium or medium rare is. I would commonly have to order rare or MR just to get a medium. C'mon, people. I learned how to cook steaks in high school.

Peter Luger is the best Porterhouse I've ever had, but the best filet was some small place in Austin near La Zona Rosa...a 9 ozer that was perfect!

lol.  Yea, people who are obsessed with overcooking their food, kill me. lol.

If it isnt pink in the middle, with some blood puddling out... It's not perfect to me.   MMm.    My grandpa used to eat raw chop meat, and I loved it!!!  lol. Must be where I get the tast from.

i've eaten at peter luger's before....like Feck, when there wasn't really a menu. :)

i like my steak rare, so I hardly ever order it out, cause no one ever cooks it right but me and my hubby (who's a chef). I like to hear it cry "moo" in pain when I stick my fork in it.

Capitol Grille is a chain, and usually sucks. I refuse to go there for the reasons you described.

A Capital Grille opened in lolHartford recently.

I was surprised at how pricey it is.

yeah, this wasn't my choice either, but it is close to the office and they picked up the tab.

when my turn comes, i'm going with the raw fish, Lugers or S&W(also close to the office)
