The showers can cause the bath!      (If it rains and the expected walk-up day-of-event people don't materialize, it's always possible I take a beating.  The trick is to scale back according to the weather report).

Thx for the offer.    Let's play by ear on that.    Aboard the trailer, I have a couple.   Plus we have the pavilion.       But an additional canopy or two could prove beneficial if it's gonna be ugly.

Desserts would be rockin'!!

I'm pretty sure it does not.   A couple of years back, we had a the Basement Generals perform a small acoustic set, and a small guitar amp had to be powered with a converter/car/extension cord.

Might I ask what your intention is?

I have a small electronic pad drum set, with pedals.  Which is also battery powered.

Cupcake fridge!

I will be sure to bring some cupcakes, don't think I will bring enough for the actual demand.  But with Tabooma bringing other deserts, maybe.

A couple of frozen water (milk) jugs and a cooler could do wonders for the cupcakes.    (Barring bad weather) Headcount is usually about 50 paid, and like 15ish kids.    So if 80% of the people had one each, about 50 would be my expectation of actual demand.       Now hammer them will pounds and pounds of other stuff all day long like I normally do, demand may be less!  LOL.       Trust me, whatever you bring is totally appreciated.   The goal is always to have nothing left at the end.

If I didn't already mention it 100 posts ago....I really appreciate the overall generosity the Boardies bring to the table here.    All the help offered, the food brought, the equipment offers, whatever it is, it makes the event pretty special.      As I'm sure you've noticed time and time again, there's an unusual high concentration of positive vibes with you folks.       In a way, a MicroGotV!

Just sayin'!

I am so totally going to be there.  I just have to figure out this paypal contraption. Too tired right now will do tomorrow.

Are we supposed to bring stuff?  I guess I could bring cranberry bread or kid-safe brownies.  I could also bring  several 2-litres of pop.  I'll think about it.

Paypal's growing more and more helpful these days, so I'd recommend you figure it out sooner or later.     Perfect for Ebay transactions, and any time you wanna donate something to somebody's small cause.     There's other ways to pay me though...just check out the announcement on Page 1.

If you're so moved to bring stuff, it's welcome.    Some people don't, and I'm pretty sure nobody goes home starving.     Cranberry bread or kid safe brownies sound perfect.   I'll have the non-alcoholic beverages covered though.   Looking forward to seeing you there.

Please get those payments in.   Shakin' the tree here.    Even verbal responses are helpful.

As far as menu goes, I still don't know WTF I'm doing yet.      A handful of ideas are knocking around.

Whatcha thinking for menu?

Well, the default setting for this is the big commercial flat top grill for grillables for lunch (burgers/dogs/etc), the roaster for dinner (large cuts of meat), king cooker for the deep fryer (Fresh cut FF) and maybe a for the big pot of Jambalaya/Gumbo/Stew.       With such a small headcount (50ish), I could probably pull this off with either only the Grill or the Roaster.     The less equipment in use is less equipment to man, and service.     We'll see.        I order the meat usually on Monday before the event, so that's when things start to gel, but some decisions are made as late as the night before while I'm in Shopping mode.     If inclement weather, I have more incentive to choose between roaster/grill, simply to reduce the equipment requiring tent cover.

BTW, if anybody has the room in their vehicles and can ***easily*** bring a 5 gallon jug of water or two, it'll help greatly.     They removed the running water source, making water a bit of an issue.   I own four 5 gal jugs, but another couple would be a perfect safety net.     Thanks!

do you mean like those things you buy with the spout that people cut a whole in the top.  I can bring 2 no problem, if that's what you're looking for.
