What's your favorite cool festival item that makes your campsite awesome?  What do you bring that many others probably don't bring?

My first one is foam workout mats, that go together like puzzle pieces.  They're getting more and more common, but I used to never see people with them.  They make your site comfortable as hell!

Another thing is our "fine art."  We got some of our old favorite posters laminated and bring them wherever we go.  Just clip 'em up to the tapestry or EZ-up or what-have-you.   Even hang them in hotel rooms sometimes...it's gotten to be a long-term joke that we share.

This year I think I'm gonna bring something totally random, like a cactus or something.  Last year our neighbors had a lovely Brugmansia sapling that I spent hours staring at.

I'm also considering a trailer hitch hammock.  Those things are AWESOME!

How do you pimp yo' site?

they might have been witches bro...

In modern medicine, important alkaloids such as scopolaminehyoscyamine, and atropine, found in Brugmansia and other related members of Solanaceae, have proven medical value for their spasmolyticanti-asthmaticanticholinergicnarcotic and anesthetic properties, although many of these alkaloids, or their equivalents, are now artificially synthesized.[14]

Those are definitely what you need at a campout or festival!

Re: Witches, I actually said "Scopolamine, eh?" and the dude was like "Huh?"  Maybe he was playing it super-duper cool.

I know couches have been done before, but this looks worth a mention (although I've never seen it in person).  It folds up to 2 ft x 2 ft x 7 in to travel, so it's not for regular camping but would be nice for a festival.  I like it cause it's not inflatable:

http://www.sears.com...la=00830067000P

I also kinda want to build a small solar powered (50 watts or so) 12V battery bank, with a 120V converter etc.  Again, not as much for camping as for car trips and festivals.  This is only happening if I ever manage to get a truck though.  I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on this project, mostly just to have something to do.

If worse comes to worse, I know some people who would buy it (provided it's safe, sturdy, and looks nice).

I need to know what this is, STAT!

And hell yeah on EL Wire (and disco balls, for that matter). My lady got a GlowaBoa as a present, and we use it mostly for...ahem...ambient lighting.

Soft, furry multi-colored ambient lighting.

My el wire/led's/lights...I like the pretty lights.  For personal comfort, my zero gravity chair, great for a morning nap when the tent gets too hot.  And my portable frozen margarita maker...it does more than chop ice, it breaks it nicely too, and it makes more than margaritas, it makes friends lol

I don't usually put up a site at vibes- just a canopy next to my truck for shade when I refill my drink or brush my teeth. But I will never go to vibes without my bike again. I love my bike.

I was thinkin about bringing my crappy bike this year, although I really only use it to get to Taz from VIP and that's getting less often each year.

Sunscreen if it's sunnin', poncho or something if it's rainin' are always good for the field...I like to have a little wearable around the neck/hands free light on the field at night, really helps you know what you're walking into in the portojohns

VIP laminate w/ 'matching" bracelet

and with any luck , the portable misting system will be fully functional.

but like the gutters, i'd rather bring it and not use it.
