take charge of your own health care!!!!
sooo cliche, yet oh so true. i'm sure she's busy and fully booked, but. something's not right so it's this or the e.r. at some point over the weekend and i think, when she gets a chance to think about it tomorrow after 10:30am, that she'd rather have this.

two u/sounds at 7:30 this morning, had to wait about 25 mins for my bladder to fill but was at work around 8:45 or so. got to the dr's office in saratoga and when she came in i was reading a magazine. "aren't i a pain right in the ass??" i said, without looking up, but smiling. she laughed, shut the door and said "well i was afraid i might have punctured the wall of your uterus but the u/sound indicates that didn't happen".
excuse me???
so today you think you might have punctured my uterus 2 1/2 weeks ago, but yesterday you just wanted me to take a pill and just 'go away'. yeahhh, that makes sense.
i knew she'd be glad i came in.
so everything looks okay, it's definitely not a uti, and we still don't know why i've been cramping so badly. i took the damn prescription she wrote up for the damn lortab and then looked it up online. it's freaking vicodin! which makes me so wired that i think i can fly.
so i'm not filling it, no how no way. i'll live on 800mg ibuprofens if need be.
and don't it just figure but i actually feel a little better today.
frustrating? you betcha! little scary? mm-hmm! but still, at least i know it's not an infection or something like that.
i did find out from the u/sound report that the lining of my uterus indicates that i am nowhere near menopause, which i found interesting. i knew i was right in not getting the ablation - it's just not my time yet.

I am fine. Just a funky looking lymph node.
Your turn to be all healthy now, Nancy.
yay!!!
nancy I know it's odd advice but if you can do a headstand against a wall that would really help with cramping or a forward bend or downdog and hold for a few moments....or even lay on your back with your legs up the wall...helps flush out the system
