I have been on a corn bread kick lately. I enjoy eating it, and I feel great afterwards. It must be giving my body the sustenance it requires.
How I Prepare It
I take an egg and some whole milk and mix them up in a bowl. Then I mix in some cornmeal, salt, and sugar. Finally, I melt a little butter in a frying pan, pour in the batter and cook med high for a couple minutes to get the bottom crusty, then turn down to medium for about 15 minutes to cook it through. Man it is great by itself, or sometimes I spread a little butter on it. When my sweet tooth is acting up I will even break out the maply syrup.
