Feel bad for the dog, but wow it's stupid that cops will grieve and post stories in the paper over the death of an animal when they are seemingly heartless and uncaring when they murder humans.
For example, I live in Albany, NY and last year cops who didn't feel like waiting for red lights drove through them (without flashing lights) and 2 cops killed 2 people within 2 weeks. They said sorry, and the cops get a paid year vacation. The only mention of the incidents were 10 seconds on the news and a police blotter... yeah f*ck pigs.
