we're the same generation and I approve that choice.

Another one that would go for me would be

51CCZ7EF03L.jpg

and

Clerks_movie_poster%3B_Just_because_they

and

singles-soundtrack-608x608.jpg

I could create a thread just of quotes from this movie.

Example:

My shit could have been slamming with someone else.

Empire Records and Clerks both came out when I was 16/17.  I kind of agree on the others but they def molded who we are.  Mine and TASB's age group is kind of weird we are stuck between Generation X and Generation Y.  we are like the nothing generation.

very hard to pick just one so here's two from the 70's

I also gotta vote for Thelma and Louise, but not sure when that came out.  Just that it's a feminist blitz, and that's a big part of what the 70's were about IMHO and memory.

Can't Hardly Wait and Empire Records, for sure.

Whenever I think of Singles, I also think of Reality Bites.

Also, Kids.

A high school buddy of mine wrote the music to that.  And has an Oscar to stare at.  STILL gets pretty good royalty checks...

Sad to say, this probably the one that sums up my generation. Makes me want to climb the Verrazano and jump off.

Here I am,
Prayin for this moment to last,
Livin on the music so fine,
Borne on the wind,
Makin it mine.

Night fever, night fever.
We know how to do it.
Gimme that night fever, night fever.
We know how to show
