I'm eating a store-bought salad with diced peppers (red green and yellow), diced tomato, field greens, diced green apple, diced cuke, a bit of chopped onion, a tiny bit of shredded cheddar, a tiny bit of shredded mozzarella, a few green olives, and a few crutons all drizzled slightly in olive oil and bbq sauce. Tis yummy ! :Phishfolk:

panera has had this salad around for a while... I don't mind when there is BBQ sauce on the chicken and its gets on my salad but personally I like vinegar based dressings too much to go for full on BBQ sauce (though I guess some BBQ sauce are pretty vinegar based)

Depends on the region. Really, only Carolina BBQ is characterized by a vinegar based sauce. Almost all others are tomato based.

I think why I liked this salad so much is it was just a drizzle of BBQ sauce - you got a taste in every bite but it wasn't overwhelming at all
and the apples and olives were a great contrast and the bbq sauce brought them together nice

sauce is over rated.

IMO, people use the sauce to kill the taste of poorly cooked meat.

Meat that is bbq'd properly needs nothing added.

Then you shouldn't be passing judgement on people who do post pics of themselves if you can't put your money where your mouth is, or choose not to. I respect your right to privacy, I refer to my wife as "the redhead" just for that reason. On the other hand I don't justify that as my reason for making fun of other people's wives names.

East Carolina BBQ is vinegar based. Western is tomato/ketchep based, although some, if not most do use vinegar also

I do enjoy vinegar based BBQ sauce on pulled pork only. Never on ribs...

this is simply a photo of a person.... can anyone here tell me who this is?

So what's the real issue? If you are really a man - we can accept that.

If you are a fugitive from justice... well, hey - who isnt in one way or another.

stop being so shy and elusive... maybe if people knew you better we'd better understand what's really going on inside that funky noggin of yours. :dunno:
