A very entertaining film. Anyone see it?

There are, of course, some very harsh economic related issues with the film. I dont know how to do a spoiler hide thingy, or I would go into detail for those who may have seen and wish to discuss.

It was entertaining, sure. I didnt love it. I was hoping to see more of a feud or difference between Earth and Elysium. But they really just focused on the healing/sickness factor. The movie was really all about trying to get Matt Damon and the girl the proper medical care.

Yep. My thoughts exactly. It was as though the symbolism of free health care for all at was at its core. Which is fine. It was entertaining. It just left that "but what about this..." feeling after leaving.

I read the LE Modessett, book some years ago and the movie hardly touched on the classic story line.  Brief glimpses with one depicting Elysium as a Ringworld created by Larry Niven (not Halo as a lot of you gamers would like to believe)  It was good enough but not even close to any versions I have read.
