The Terrapin Foundation, along with Save The Sound and City of Bridgeport Park and Rec, are doing a beach clean up July 9th at Seaside Park. Plan on meeting at the Soldier and Sailor's Memorial statue.
Our Gathering of The Vibes Operations Crew will also be there to help. We're reaching out to anyone who wishes to come give a hand.
We will begin at 10:00 am and go till 2:00 pm. Lunch will be provided, as well as beverages.
We have gloves for everyone, however, you may wish to bring your own. We strongly suggest boots or heavier shoes.

We did a beach cleanup last year on the site on the east beach by the power plant. Not surprisingly, it's a little hard to rally a bunch of volunteers at 9 or 10 AM to do this on Saturday morning after a great night of late night music.
Save the Sound offered to do the beach cleanup before Vibes this year with local volunteers. If you're around, I highly recommend getting involved. It's just a few hours of your time and it is a very satisfying feeling at the end of it to see the piles of trash bags that come from that modest effort
Be sure to come by and visit Save the Sound in the Non-Profit village on the waterfront between main stage and Green stage. They're great people and a worthy cause
