Can the stage be seen/heard from the VIP chilling area? We have VIP tickets but are thinking of bringing a sunshade of some sorts as well--we're heading in with our 4yo so want to make sure everything/one is as comfortable as possible.
VIP Viewing area?

the viewing area and the chilling area are two different spots
the viewing area is a raised platform in front of the vip tent and yes, you can see the stage although it is across the field
but you can see the screens well
the chilling area is both under and next to the vip tent and if you are in the front, yes you can see the stage and screens
however, if you are under the tent and not in the front row, you probably cant see the stage unless they have changed things
i dont think you can bring a sunshade into vip though, but you may want to ask a vibe gawd for the answer to that one

If you bring the sunshade, you'll probably use it on the regular concert field, which is open to VIP and non-VIP. In VIP, years past, the viewing platform, as Dee described it, is elevated but in the sun during the day and has a metal floor. The tent is covered but doesn't have great views most of the time. There is a spot with tables and chairs in the grass just in front of the viewing platform but it isn't great for long when you're 4.
If I were you, I'd bring the shade and give yourself the option of spending some time on the main concert field with the shade watching him dance and play in the grass or napping in the afternoon while you dance and play in the grass.

A sunshade is a great idea, especially if you have a little one with you. However they can't be used in the VIP viewing area or on the platform, only on the main concert field behind the track.
There's plenty of shade & comfortable places to chill under the VIP tent, though.
Hope this helps.
