Chords for a Cure :
Fourteen diverse bands volunteer their time and talent for cancer research.

The summer is full of music festivals, giving concert goers a chance to see a variety of bands perform on multiple stages all in one location.  On Saturday, August 3rd, Cherry Street Station in Wallingford, CT will be celebrating a full day of music, art, and hope.  Fourteen of CT's top acts have agreed to perform on two stages, both inside and outside, to raise money for the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund.  www.diocancerfund.org

For only $10, you will have the oppurtunity to experience what is possibly the most diverse music festival to date.  Throughout the day, the audience will be entertained by a wide variety of styles, including pop rock, Latin, funk, live band hip hop, Reggae, folk, instrumental, and singer/songwriter.  In the spirit of traditional music festivals, a one-off "superjam" has been formed to close the outside stage, so bring your dancing shoes!  When the sun goes down, Chords for a Cure will turn into an indoor heavy metal concert, closing with a  Dio tribute band, formed especially for the festival.

Chords for a Cure is a 21+ event.  Proof of age is required upon entrance.  Come have a great time for a great cause, and please drink responsibly.
Cherry Street Station, 491 North Cherry Street Extension, Wallingford, CT.
