They are playing Bonnaroo.  It's a major accomplishment to get booked for that festival.  They have 3 sets on assorted smaller stages.  Wish them well as they show America how we do it here in the Northeast.

With all the singer songwriters on the radio now, it could be a huge year for the BLEAU

to roughly quote Ronnie Hawkins      .... Big Time, boys. Big Time!

This was a Bonnaroo I'd have loved to be at.

You get married and all the sudden it's Ben and Jerry, PopTarts and Skittles.

oh and some of the comments about Ryan (on the Ben/Jerry) post are pretty rude. :lame:

if you're up for it, maybe post a comment of support to him.

He works with great musicians and he's a good song writer, even if some of them are a bit sad, for my tastes. He's been through a lot and keeps going. That has appeal. And he's a stand-up guy. That's always a plus. I don't think he shits bricks of gold, but I respect what he's doing with what he's got.

Well-executed American music with great (to me) lyrics which often show a wisdom beyond the writer's years. Makes me happy to listen to him.

"You think, you stink!"  - Neil Young

I prefer John Butler Trio to RMB.  Kinda the same sound/style, but i like Butlers delivery over Ryans jibberjabber style...

I also would add that lyrics are never the thing that gets me hooked iunto a band...id prefer instrumental music every time.

just saw him the other night in cambridge

he played a last minute solo bday show and some lovies gave me the heads up :clapping: so i headed there after a hot tuna show

ryan talked about the video clip on FB and was bummed

he was told he would be able to dub over the vocals so he was singing but not to the extent of his capabilities and when it showed up in a not-dubbed state, he freaked a bit, i guess

he did a few awesome mccartney covers

got to give him a bday hug

love me some ryan
