I like BSN syntha-6. The choco Peanut Butter flavor tastes great. I order it from DPS Nutrition. What do you take?

So I bought some Designer Whey. No clue if it's any good. I just want some recovery food for after my wookout.

Nothing beats real food but protein shakes give you a high dose of protein after your workout.

Also, I sometimes have protein shakes on non-workout days if I am feeling sore. That is also acceptable.

my understanding is Protein Shakes > Food for post workout. The reason is the first hour after your workout is supposed to be the most important time for muscle recovery/growth. If you attempt to reload on protein then via food, it takes too long for food protein to digest and be usable at the most important time, where as the shake provides what you need right away.

I've only been taking the gorilla juice for two weeks and I definitely feel a bit of difference during and after workouts.

I have a 20 Gram shake before (well 28 if you include the milk) and a 40 Gram after (48 including the milk).
