I've been inconsolable since I found out my favorite girl Ciello has bone cancer. I've barely left the house except to spend as much time with her as possible. She's a rambunctious one who needs to be constantly run to exhaustion before she can calm down to normal speed and now with a tumor on her front leg, I just have to suffer with seeing her go all nuts for a walk when all we can do is rest her, mostly indoors.
The vet says 2 months to live without amputation. A 3-legged dog can usually still live a decent life, but not so much without a front leg. Amputation would prolong her life, maybe by a year or two. But what a terrible decision that is to make for her.
