It won't change either. If anyone tries to start a revolution now they'll get labeled a threat and locked up. At least for awhile, and forget about your rights they don't even need to tell you for what or for how long they plan on holding you. There was a piece that Jared Paul did after one of the recent elections, where he and several protesters (PROTESTERS) were arrested and detained for "Conspiracy to Riot".

You're seriously calling wanting to keep Medicare versus the gutting of Medicare that is the Ryan bill a cosmetic difference?Cosmetic differences at best.
I tell you what, very few people will be directly effected by a renewal of these Patriot Act provisions. Tens of millions of people (if not hundreds of millions), including both of us would be effected by the Ryan gutting of Medicare. Cosmetic differences? I think not!

Sweet melt.
The differences again, are merely cosmetic in a completely failing economy, hell bent on filling autocrats munitions depots with our weapons, starting new wars, attempted murder on US citizens abroad by their govt., spending largely beyond our means, etc...etc....etc....
These tit for tat social issues aren't going to amount to anything if we can't fix the bigger picture. The patriot act effects EVERYONE'S constitutional rights. If you would rather have perceived safety and a broken medicare system though, I guess that's where the lines draw.
“We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children.”~ Ancient Indian Proverb
The future generations are far more my concern at this point over those who have blindly walked us into this dilemma.
Agree to disagree.

What's the Dem's plan to fix Medicare?
It appears the dem plan is to kick the can down the road....a long searched revealed no plan. Gee, I'm shock'd, serve'd.
Not that I care. again, these issues that people are blowing out of proportion aren't our immediate concern. Sort of in the way fixing the air conditioner in the car while the transmission is blown out (I'm sure Dan HATES this analogy...

the dems plan is not universal healthcare...it's just some other bullshit way to coddle insurance companies...therefore it is no better than whatever the republicans want
