you trap it so you can torture it to death?  that's the reason you don't just shoot it right?

Just need to remember to tie a rope to the handle so I don't have to go swimming.

Or contract CTMuleman to do it.

Damn!  I looked outside this morning and there was a critter in the trap!!  Unfortunately, it was a raccoon, not my little groundhog nemesis.  I forgot to get a #1, as I was concerned with letting him out without him taking a chunk of my leg with him.

No worries, though - he shot out of that trap like a rocket, and barreled under the fence with a comical "twang" as his big ass passed under the links.

Now to reset and try again.

JB & FNPM - where did you release your captive?  We have a big state park about 8 miles away.  I'm calling it "Moraine Hills Rodent Relocation Camp".

I caught a nasty raccoon a few weeks ago.

Bastid was hissing and spitting and charging the cage at me.

It was a little scary to let it out, but it high tailed it up the nearest tree a few feet, where it stopped and stared at me for a few seconds before running off into the woods.

       What you people don't seem to understand is that this is a solo effort on my part.

The thought of FNPM trapping, transporting and releasing (or throwing in a pond) one of these little shits brings on some serious lulz.   :rotf:

I also take them to state park about 5 miles away from my house.

I'm calling it "Gay City State Park" because that's what the name is.
