Big Dairy has petitioned the FDA to change the meaning of the ingredient "milk".

from how i read this,  aspartame can added to milk without any labeling.

i thought the fed gov't mandated that any addition over 5% (or is it 2?) must be labeled on all food products?

imo, any amount that goes into a food product should be labeled, period.  how is it considered acceptable to not inform the consumer of what they're ingesting??

Agreed.

 

Even though it's illegal to sell (or even give away) here, we regularly get raw milk from a friend. I don't drink very much milk period, but I do use it in cooking, coffee and cereal etc.

Milk is a white liquid produced by the mammary glands of mammals. It is the primary source of nutrition for young mammals before they are able to digest other types of food.
