Linda's son Ian (on Right) and friends formed a band... Have seen him play for a few years at some of the Lucky Dawgz events and Vibes camp. Check them out, like them if you do :)

I said it before and I'll say it again, Ian is possibly the sweetest kid I have ever met, and incredibly talented to boot. Latenight Lucky Dawgz jams he was an integral part of made my Bears Picnic last year. (that and Karen and I blowing out the zero gravity chair.

Ian is like the son I never had.  Kid's a prodigy and a super kind soul.  I've spent many happy hours jamming away with him - kinda wish we had some #3s of some of our Bear Creek sessions to share.  Good stuff!!

Now that he's out of state at school, I'm missing those times quite a bit.  But there will be more.  There's ALWAYS time for music.

Definitely show him some love.  That kid's going places in the music scene.  Count on it.

Ian's great!

I'll always remember - a few years ago - when Bud was working with the teens @ The GOTV Teen Stage Tent , slowly going over which chords each young musician should play for some Dead tune....Ian took it all in quietly.  Bud starts the drums going - then brings in the other musicians and all of a sudden, looks over to Ian.

There was Ian, head back shaking, tearing up a great lead....it was awesome
