After a long winter due to Maine weather and a back injury I needed something more besides another visit to the chiropractor and massesuse. So Saturday we drove down to Hampton Beach Casino for a night of Yes my original love of great music. Being a Jon Anderson fan I almost sold my ticket when Benoit David was scheduled as vocalist, but right before the tour was replaced by Jon Davison of Glass Hammer, a yes cover and progressive rock outfit from LA. There are just not enough words of gratitude for what I enjoyed Saturday nite. For all of you fellow yes heads out there in the lower new England and tri state srea......don't think twice when they come around this summer simply say Yes and go! Thanks! Rayzeeday!

I've been on the fence about seeing them, but you're the second person to say it's worth it.

Even with Fake Fake Jon. :funny1:

They're playing the 3 albums in their entirety on this tour, right?

Not a fake Jon at all but a breath of fresh clean air into the band.  Download Glass Hammer to fully grasp what this man adds to the band.  Quite simply equal on all counts.  Almost all songs include rearranged jams by all members seamlessly added to enhance.  For Yes fans this is a wet dream come true with the blond next to you in the morning to validate it :)

we got all three albums entirely.  Some shows got only two due to time constraints.  I was literally transported back to my bedroom for Going For The One, droppimg the cleaned needle down on vinyl after prepping in the bathroom with a toilet paper roll, square of tin foil, pin and some blond from the middle east.  My wife who is younger and never got into Yes said she had never seen an entire audience as enraptured, joyfully singing every song while tears rolled down our faces.  There was a collective love in the room matched only by the Grateful Dead, pre 1990..........................................................................................................................................................................!

Caught the tour with Jon a while back and it was truly mind blowing.

I'll check this tour out if a show is reachable for us. Thanks.  Glad you saw the light!

Added:  well if I could get back to Chile, I could get tickets, (Valparaiso right next door to Satiago was the most fun port I ever hit!)

Maybe if we head west for Wisconsin state fair?
