dear god,

please let the kaatskill mtn club take a pounding and lose tons of money this year due to alienating their most loyal patrons.

sincerely,

a happy now-camper :D

Really Dee?

The folks on Emule seem to love the Hunter Inn and say they are nice and have a great breakfast daily.

I have never stayed there i just wanted to pass on the info in case people were in the same boat we were a couple months ago thanks to Kattskill Mnt Club.

I am with Dee i hope Kattskill mountain club gets destroyed by unruly mulers.

I thought it was them calling to offer me rooms and i was going to call back and lay someone out in spades.

Greedy, incompetent, stuck up, ass hats.

If i had my way i would fill their pool with jello.

I have stayed at The Hunter Inn for Mt Jam and had good experiences.  Their breakfast is awesome!

My only bitch was the distance back from the fest at night.

GO FOR IT!!!   :Phishfolk:

But do it quick.

I'm sure they won't last long if they're making phone calls.

i have never said this in my life, but i would never be so happy to see a tank at a fest i was at

i reread my post above and it came off as a lot harsher than i felt...i stayed there once a few years back, my 2nd year at mtn jam i think...we told them how many were in the room and got a quote and then, at the end of the weekend, they tacked on a random extra amount, i think it was 100 bucks?

anyway, i thought that really sucked of them to do and obviously am still holding a grudge

but yes, the breakfast is awesome and its really fun to stay there as it is full of fun folks, for sure

definitely a lot more than stumbling distance

trust me, i know

:funny1:

i so vastly prefer camping over the schlep up the hill to KMC or crawling down the road to hunter inn

anyhoooooooooo...i really shouldnt be posting after working a 15 hour day

I stayed at Hunter one year and they tacked on a $200 charge to the booker's credit card for smoking in the room. Nobody ever smoked in the room. Just because there was an empty pack of cigarettes in the trash, doesn't mean someone smoked in the room. We argued it and they dropped it, but pretty sleazy to just add the charge without notice.

We had a similar experience at KMC where they tried to charge us $500 for burning a comforter that was in fine condition when we checked out.

no, i just really really dig camping...been doing it my whole life...i find it calming and comforting, even when drenched in a glut of music, hippies and rain :D

the ONLY reason i ended up at KMC is you sketchy fuckers

altho i gotta admit, it was pretty sweet for the most part, and the 6 of us have years worth of some really awesome memories there

i just wish we didnt have to break up so harshly :undecided:

:funny1:
