i'm not there but the beer guy was going on and on about his shipment of Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. brewed in San Diego.

he even pointed to it on the six back San Diego CA, seemed a little too excited, but i have to admit it's pretty good.

 

also picked up a 4x 90min dogfishead , LAGunitas hop stoopid + little sumpin wild, Widmer OE 12 and a 6er of Star Hill Northern Lights, so they do get a good mix there now.

 

have fun, i have a feeling after the stoopid, it will be morning

I didn't realize that they had a place in Vegas.  ( and even CT now!, and soon Orlando).  I was last there in 2003 or so.

They've got two or three in Vegas now. Crazy how they've expanded.

Yeah, I first went in 2001, at the Hillcrest location.  Was always a stop when in SD.  I'm glad to see they are opening in Orlando, I'll stop in for their french toast.
I always pictured it as a purely San Diego type of place.  What's next, a Hodads in Disney?

Have you ever been to the Beachcomber in MB?  A bar, mostly locals only.  It is where OTL (a kind of beach baseball) was started.  Not great food, Good bartenders.  But it is a place of beach culture history.  A throwback to mid sixties SD.
