While we can not change some one's mind but we could help educate them, and help them realize for themselves what a douche nozzle they really are for being so ignorant.

They need to chill the fuck out, stop obsessing over other peoples' perceived shortcomings, and work on their own.

Compassion is definitely part of it.

"If you watch political programming and read pundits or blogs that are aligned with your ideology you are reinforcing existing beliefs without question in a circular echo chamber of intellectual masturbation. In order to garner a wider concept of reality its a necessity to read the counter argument and debate others that view the world differently then you. None of us have all the answers and ideologically speaking left and right both have serious faults. I am annoyed with the constant badgering of others just because they view the role of government differently, or economics, or foreign policy. There is common ground, there is resolve.
