Saw some tornado damage this week....driving up from Alabama, I passed two homes that had "minor" damage...it was weird, cause the other homes next to them were absolutely untouched and these two homes had big chunks of their roofs torn up...
400 today...1140 cases of water safely delivered to cicero, Il...(32 half liter cases), then headed north to N.Chicago, which is actually a ways from chicago itself....(something odd tingles in me when I say "Chicago Itself".....like ITSELF ACTUALLY ATE THE EGGPLANT, But I digress...
and got loaded with "pools of poison gas".....to take to .....Dah, Dah, Dah....Dah, Dah....Lima?....but first I stopped off in Downey....

Then it started raining....and then it was nice again.....then the traffic backups from hell happened....It no longer amazes me to see three lanes of traffic slow to 10mph in a 55mph zone to see(read "gawk at")..a mildly dented car on the left shoulder with two cop cars with lights on...I just get pissed...totally....
So...Lima, OH....

Allergy is back, but now I think it has to be some kind of irritation....I wouldn't be allergic in only one eye....right? So next i have to try to flip the eyelid up and look at it....already tried and this is gonna take some effort.....

You might just be one of those people who get all jerky about a big truck passing you....you imagine that a stone will kick up and chip your windshield....maybe crack it..
Yesterday a late model ford...maybe an escape.....drove past me, kicked up a stone, and "whack" I heard a loud(sort of indicating a large stone) noise on my windshield....I was looking somewhere else at the time, so I didn't see the stone or where it hit...I saw a mark on the window and thought maybe it was there that the stone had hit....On with the rest of the day...then I stop for a break...it was only then that I actually see where the stone hit...it was at the base of the window near the middle, and there is a crack running up about eight inches so far...
So, yes, stones can kick up and get us too.....
Thing is, I just got both windows replaced about a month ago....

457...back in Woodhaven, MI.....
saw a clean up in progress today at the head of a HUGE backup...and even tho one lane was totally open to traffic, we were at a virtual standstill as vehicles creeped (?sp? crept?) past a totally burned trailer loaded with ......
CHEESE! big velveeta sized bricks of scorched cheese....weird sight o'the day....

oh yeah, I meant to mention a few things...
check your tire pressure in the morning, or when they are "cold" ...there is a rating on the tire itself to help you fill it with the right amount.
A heavier load is not the time to raise the tire pressure to it's rated max...
check fluid levels.....Antifreeze, hydraulic fluid, windshield washer fluid, oil, brake fluid.......directional fluid....
check your tire pressure in the morning, or when they are "cold" ...there is a rating on the tire itself to help you fill it with the right amount.

219, and I'm stuck by choice in Swedesboro, NJ, or Pedricktown, according to my log program...Stuck..as in, 1.) don't want to try to drive through Philly during rush hour...2.) Phillies game just let out...3.) The Chief tied up a bunch of areas today as he visited/fund raised...
Traffic on 66 was a pain, as well as on 495.....Balto scale was open....
delivered 6 rolls of paper to Bellmawr...

Sio...From OH, I "meandered" up to Maine...where I sit until early am..,206 today, 396 yesterday, 436 sat....crossed the Pascataqua bridge today..and saw parts of the Atlantic Ocean, where it touches New Hampshire, and Maine....
and the Androscoggin river....

the starter failed....then the apu quit....now i'm in a hotel for the night...maybe tomorrow they'll have it fixed? Almost got a room at "the very same hotel" that Adam Sandler used in a movie he's filming.....but there weren't andy rooms available...
