you don't need no stinking shoes to dance at a Reckoning gig ...unless you're at The Checkmate next to the fireplace, in that case watch out for the bouncer who musn't like hippies with burnt toes in his establishment......
if the Village Police walked into the Village Pub and found patrons not wearing shoes, i bet the club could and would be fined.

Feesh, totally random but I met a guy that knows you and Reckoning from LI. Tommy? He is in CO now, and is meeting me in Hampton for a ticket trade. Knew of your band, you, Mexicali, etc....totally met him randomly through a ticket trade board.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news. i'm like 90% sure that it was replaced by a dessert shop. yes, a dessert shop. pathetic, i know. but they may have just moved, not closed.

If so (and here's another totally random connection)... do you remember the Phish show @ Nassau Coliseum when a guy in a Tigger suit jumped onstage during Loving Cup (and caused a great improv in Antelope "Carini's gonna getcha")?
If this is the Tommy I'm thinking of; he's good friends with the Tigger guy. He can tell you some great stories about that cat (pun intended).
Tommy's a good man. Get's a little wild when he's inebriated (but who doesn't?).

Nice. You definitely need to ask him about Jojo (the Tigger guy). They're really good friends.
I remember I spent a large portion of a foggy NYE ('01?) with him bouncing a red super-ball on the corner of 42nd st & 8th ave.
Actually, a whole buncha of us FLIDs around here know him (Pixiebug comes immediately to mind). Tell him to get his ass on the board!

The Great South Bay Fest (around July 11th) is shaping up to be a good one!
I can be bribed. i.e. housing and transporting from said house to and from the Fest.

whats the record for the most bands you've played with at the same fest?
i've seen Feesh do 3 bands at Bradstock and 3 bands at Dynamic Grooves. i've yet to see Feesh do 4 bands at a fest, but i'm sure he has, likely well before i came into his life.
as for Great South Bay, i'll offer that it's not going to be quantity so much as quality this year. save 7/10-7/12 (but particularly Saturday 7/11, if you can only do the one-day pass.)
