They ABSOLUTELY need to give out misinformation at this point since this is an ongoing mission. Stop seeing it as just taking out Bin Laden and start being happy they're not releasing information that might be helpful to terrorists. Even the physical body could give away info about tactics used during the raid we don't want out there in the world.
