Hi Augie. Along with being a raging alcoholic, I'm an opiate addict...to the point where it killed me (legally). But I'm here today. No booze or dr00gs in almost 5 months...one day at a time.

i had 7 years till tis surgery. but at least im not doing her0n...the percs are bad enough but i think i can swing it

Percs are def not her0n. I'm scared of any opiate, I know how my mind works. Congrats on the 7 years.

Unless you took them in some way counter to what your docs told you, you still do, by my reckoning. And if you did, it really is each day that matters.

i take 3 a day...every 6 hours....exactly what the doc prescribed

Then you still have 7 years, as far as I'm concerned.

Not to diminish the difficulty of kickin' 'em, at all. And I guess dates are a personal decision, but I think intent counts for a lot...
