I woke up to Americana in 2000...spent a summer teaching music and jamming with a bunch of world class musicians while playing the shit out of the Anthology of American Folk Music.

If I had talent I'd be playing full time 13 years later! I do miss the stage terribly. I really want to start an old fashioned hardcore band once I finish school.

No way...you don't live that life and embellish. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction and all that. Steve Parish is basically the walking Grateful Dead museum.

the stories were a lot of fun.  camels; bakshish; jackals; basically the whole thing was like having a great time in your living room with some acoustic music and funny stories from 35 years ago!

Forgive my ignorance here. What exactly is this that am I watching? Is this a weekly thing? Where is the venue? It's all new to me. Apparently I'm out of the loop.
