I've had thousands of dreams about being confronted with huge 50 yardish tidal waves. Eventually I began to just dive into them and try to swim underneath them and then I wake up. :teeth4::psiholog:

Hmmmm...maybe that's why you try to swim through the tidal wave*

Tidal waves often involve sexual feelings, or other "oceanic" experiences. These may well feel overwhelming, but are less so when you dive in!

I dreamt of the ocean the other night and there was a lot of people around the shore and a resturant up on a cliff above. All I wanted to do was swim but I kept getting distracted and missed my opportunity because we could only swim during high tide or the ocean would swallow us up because of the undertoe and the huge drop at the shoreline during low tide. Anyway, while we were waiting, these prehistoric doscile creatures came walking up out of the ocean. One of them was like 25yards long and it was light grey and had a long shiny body with skin like a dolphin and short elephant like legs with a trunk. really cool. :drama::
