I'd say we got 14-16" the first 6" were heavy & wet but the rest is light & fluffy. Roads here are fine. Frank dug us out when he got home this morning! :jam:

Drifting is pretty wild...having gotten about half the shoveling done, checkin' in on the chickens, etc, there're spots where I can see grass, and spots where there's 3+ feet.

Around 6", this banana belt living is good for some things.

Hmm, local paper is saying we got 10".  Wonder if those are penis inches or standard inches?

i just had to go out and yell at my mom for shoveling

"woman! you have MS! put down that shovel!" :ravn:

i finished shoveling her path to the bunny hutch...trust me, he is warmer in there than i am in my house! it is weatherproofed to the nth degree then he has a box, inside the insulated hutch, full of straw...she is going to make sure the water isnt frozen over...i sent her inside and did it for her...there are still pretty consistent winds out there enough to give ya a push over!

silly mainer :spank:

i asked her as she agreed to go back in her house, why dont you ask for help? "cuz i am a stubborn mainer..."

yes, yes you are!

watching my dad blast out of the garage at the end of the driveway with the snowblower was awesome :clapping:

he had it gassed and angled so that he merely needed to open the door and go

however, there was a drift taller than him against the garage door

the scoop part that guides the snow to the blades has at least a foot above it so its a game of snowblow a foot then blow all the snow that just fell into where you just blew...he said once the driveway was done near the cars, that i could do the rest :D

i like wrangling to the snowblower!

love having one living next door! :ura1:

newscasters still guessing at totals...the drifting is insane! 2 feel anyway, here...would not be surprised at more, though...

Last night may be the first time mittens ran away from an open door to the outside.

Reference shot. It's almost up to the top of my picnic table.

Thank you ChefJeff!! He did have to go afterall. Now if only you would go on chat I have spent my entire snow day not talking to you and it's just WRONG!

No idea what the totals are but half of my windows are covered in my also ground level apartment. Hubby and I went out and jumped around in it for a while around midnight or so that was a blast! Once she wakes up we are going to take Gerina out in it for her first ever big snow day event!! The snow is taller than she is :D

We shoveled the driveway up to the curb. Still waiting for the plow to do our street. Then it's back to moving the plow boulders.

We didn't get nearly as much as WTFNE did. Wow! We pretended the sun will melt it all and improvised a veggie lasagna-type thing with fusilli, etc., instead. Stir-fried some vegetables. Will shovel tomorrow.

i'd say we got 6-8 inches total in the hollow.  pretty much right within the forecast 6-12.  it probably wasn't more than 6" at 4:30am (cady had to go out), but then it continued to snow/flurry throughout the day.

about 8 or 10 inches on my hill
