I hear sleet blowing against the windows. It sounds like when you drive over crumbled asphalt.

Power not out yet. Weve got about 5inches of heavy wet snow, stupid winds and a pine about to take out the stairs on my deck... Hoping the roof holds! Mmmm a vodka cranberry sounds perfect

Wow is the wind picking up here on the middle of the island. Some of the wettest snow/sleet I ever shoveled. Shits heavy...going out every hour to skip the 12" +stuff.

I measured 19" in a couple of places, and 25" banks where I'd shoveled my walk earlier.

It seems like 4" fell while I was shoveling the walk.

Only about 4" out there. Not uncommon for this narrow valley. I'm sure the hills got much more.

hard to tell? :dunno:

one area has over two feet of snow and another area looks like a dusting - all cuz of the wind and drifting

guess i wont know the extent till i get out there later on to shovel...

i have a window on my second floor that has windblown snow up over half of it, then the window around the corner (more windy) has none other than spots of blown snow...

weird storm...going now to see what the news-type folks are saying

Got up at 4am to do some snowblowing and at least 20 inches from the ground to top of blower.

Snow is blowing in drifts so i would say 16-18 average at present.

Still have power too

Just got done shoveling the additional 7 inches or so. 2 and half hours to do mine and my neighbors.

Glad I went out last night and shoveled those first 5. I also tarped the 4-runner, which made snow removal of the roof simple.

Proper planning made this mornings cleanup  pretty easy peasy.

Time to play!!
