I stopped eating that shit when I left a package in my camp from October till May. Found it in the non running fridge when opening up the camp, it looked as I just bought it. :puke:

funny that nowadays the white is more appealing.   The only reason it's yellow (orange) is to make it look more appealing...

I have not eaten the yellow in decades.  I didn't realize there was a different taste.

I think the yellow looks fake, not a fan of food coloring in general

well guys, you see, Land O'Lakes yellow American cheese is yellow from the natural coloring from the seed of the tropical annatto plant. That is the only difference between white American cheese and yellow American cheese. Now for the real answer: The true difference between white & yellow is only food coloring, its just a marketing ploy, white sells more in northern areas of the country, while the southerners like the standard yellow, there is no noticeble taste difference. Its a manufacters way to apeal to mozzarella, Swiss or provolone lovers.

now, back to work

this thread makes me think about the Bloodhoung Gang:  "...I like my girls like my cheese. Preferrably for me fat-free American singles only."

I'm a Land o' Lakes guy, myself.  sliced thin, please.
