I usually pull up the image via google images then drop the link into the image thing.  for some reason it tells me certain ones aren't aloud which I never understand

Thug, you have to do it manually. Paste the URL and put [IMG}URL[/IMG]

It is my belief that the image extension needs to be .jpeg or .gif.

ok seriously TEO?    that's what i've always done, and what i tried to do 20 times tonight before bitching about it here.  when i click on the image icon above and click paste, the URL pastes directly to the thread rather than into the URL image link generator pop-up (if that makes sense...) and it just doesn't work.

 

but TaSB reminded me of how we did things before we had little interweb robo-thingies to do them for us.
