5 or 6 of these id consider pop, not rock. I know that kinda tickytacky, but the wilson sisters? Pop music all the way
Late Tina Turner would be pop, but her early years, esp with Ike, were Rock & Soul
Pat Benetar pop, I'll give ya that one, And Stevie Nicks, somewhat.
But the rest are rockers

It's been 45 years since BB&tHC played Monterey.
What is amazing, IMO, is that Big Brother was not that good of a band, and Gurley, in this performance was close to horrible. But Janis' performance raised this to an incredible height.
45 years is a long time in Rock. Surprised that noone has come close to taking that mantle.

I've still not gotten over Tina Weymouth w/ Tom Tom Club & Mystic Bowie @ Camp Creek that time
musta been the (blood red) roses
Tina Weymouth is who came to mind when opening this thread. Mind you, I LOVE bass players to the point of potentially going gay for one. My wife is well aware of this.
Tina is by far my favorite female musician of all time though. I'd go lesbian for her
