No she cant cause kattskill fucked all the people who have been going and were on a supposed waiting list.
Kattskill mnt club is being booked by the radio station and they are giving all the rooms to the super vip option people 1st.
I was #8 on the waitlist and the room we have booked for the last 4 years wasnt even offered.
Big fucking money grab and everyone who has been a loyal customer who was on a waiting list was fucked in the ass.

Well, broke down and bought a ticket and a car camping pass. The lineup looks too good to miss and I already can't go to StrangeCreek this year. The hike from the car camping area to the stage does look like it will be ass, but the hike up the damn mountain was worse. FESTY VAN to the rescue! ![]()

interesting... from their what's new page
Bye Bye, B.U.N.Y.
Remember those road blocks as you made your way up the Mountain in past years? We’ve been told that was part of the state’s Buckle Up New York (B.U.N.Y.) program in action. In 2013, Mountain Jam has moved one week later in the year, and therefore we fall outside of the B.U.N.Y. time period. Together we can collectively say, “Bye Bye, B.U.N.Y!” Of course, we still recommend that you drive safely, slowly, and wear your seat belts! Also make sure to check your registration and inspection!

I think I may just say screw it and car camp too. Hotels on the outside are expensive and mean driving in and out. Looking for a mnt house or condo now but it seems anything close has been given to the radio station to rent out.
is going vip and vip car camping less than what we usually will spend on the room? can't remember what it was

Don't get me wrong the property is beautiful but the staff has no idea how to run a hotel.
Over the tears we have had people locked out of rooms for hours cause even the staff couldn't get the locks to work.
They have threatened to tow cars of paying coustemers.
They sent a squad of security to count the people in our rooms and go room to room on more than one occasion .
Don't expect them to hold your reservation on a waiting list.
They screwed over 6 pages of people when they gave the radio station the ability to book their rooms.
My attitude toward them now are fuck you assholes. I hope you have no troubles I will be finding other accommodations from now on.

Hubby and I have never made it to mountain jam, due to the dates it usually falls on and we have never been able to score a hotel last minute over there.
One MAIN reason we really wanted to go this year (besides the music) Is b/c we have loved hanging with all the boardies we have met. We just want to have a good ass time and not worry all weekend!
We don't want to party without you guys!!! They just started calling people on Friday I was told.

I have been in contact with the woman running it for the radio station since Friday night. The hotel rooms that were up for grabs are all sold out.
I spoke to her this morning again and all credit cards have passed and all rooms to be offered are gone.
I will be on the mnt but won't be at that hotel.
As far as I am concerned no loss. I was on the waiting list when I checked in last year and for the last 7 years. I am sure if its just you and your husband in a regular room you will be fine. Hopefully your keys will work and continue to work all weekend and they won't give you any hassles.
Only people with hotel wristbands are allowed in so don't bother trying to meet with friends at the hotel.
The girl running it told me it has been a horror show and that she has been screamed at nonstop via email voicemail and every time she answers her phone. She has since taken her phone number off the radio stations website.
She said she only answered my call cause she recognized the number. She even gave me her realty agents cell # and name to help out.
At this point I am leaning toward camping.
I am a skier and know the mnt and know where the good site spots are since I have been there for so many years.
She also told me all the area hotels have to pay mnt jam 10% of their profit for the weekend just to have their name on the site page.
Needless to say there will be no jambearicanes at mnt jam this year.
I will be enacting planB and will be mounting a personal tequila party.
Due to greed what was once a huge mnt party will have to be scaled back.
hell i only kept booking this hotel so I could share space with my friends and smuggle gallons of rum punch down to all the rest of my friends all weekend.
No matter......I will be riding the rail all weekend and they can't stop my good time or the party to come!!!
