I detect a bit of paranoia coming from both sides of the issue.
I have no reason to be paranoid. I can still procure items the govt. has deemed illegal. The same applies here. Frustrated and flabbergasted? Sure. Since it makes no sense as already discussed, but certainly not paranoid. Someone who is afraid of people who own guns = Paranoid. Whether it's a pistoli, a rocket launcher or a Death Star.

OK, but I stand by my statement.

So much vitriol over a hobby. Seriously if it isnt just a hobby then how fucking paranoid do you have to be to own a gun solely to defend yourself from creeps and your government?
There is nothing wrong with limits. The 2nd was writtem when the only guns fired one shot before reloading. I am sure if they had rapid-fire, high capacity magazine weapons, they would have been a little more cautious in their wording of the 2nd and who can own these weapons.
For some, it's more than a hobby. For some, it's about providing dinner, especially those who have made a choice to provide food for themselves rather than rely on what's in grocery stores.
The 2nd was not written because guns had just just 1 shot per load. It was written to say the rights of bearing arms shall not be infringed upon.
As a resident of NY, what angers me the most is that these laws are not only being passed by people who have armed security detail, but they're being passed in secret and they're being passed in a hurry. These laws do nothing to address the real problem. They only serve to stroke the ego of those who are convinced they're important.

Never said he did...though in a coupla scenes, if you look closely, R2 appears to have some stains -suspiciously like Wookie Santorum- all over him.
Butt plug'd
You said he slayed a bunch of wookettes + I thought he was a one Han wook = swinging both ways

Han wanting more than Chewie could give - that was always the problem...when Solo first landcruised him at that cantina in Mos Eisley, the young wook was down on his luck, just coming off of Furthur tour, and doing what he needed to to get by.
His first and real love was always slaying the wookette. Always.

I don't think so.
Didn't you hear the way he cried when Han got frozen in carbonite?

Obama just said the law should get tougher on people who buy guns with the purpose of selling them to criminals. What, you mean like the Obama administration did under Fast and Furious?
The law doesn't apply to him

mmmm Texas
Question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner and is running at you while screaming obscenities. In your hand is a Glock .40 and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?

Liberal Answer:
Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!
Does the man look poor or oppressed?
Have I ever done anything to him that is inspiring him to attack?
Could we run away?
What does my wife think?
What about the kids?
Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?
What does the law say about this situation?
Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?
Does he definitely want to kill me or would he just be content to wound me?
If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?
This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for a few days to try to come to a conclusion.
