I dont know where she learned it but its making dinner time a lil frustrating.

 

Anyone ever deal with this? What did you do?

you said she's 7 months? stop feeding her. Let her do it herself. It will be messy. and the older & more mobile they get, the less interested they become in food. It's normal. My kids skipped meals, even dinner, regularly & were fine. they were just that much more hungry at the next meal! Don't start a battle over food. It will only get worse. Kids eat when they're hungry

I'm even weirder in that we don't use "baby" food. lol.

whatever we eat (with the exception of a few things, lets not feed the 8 month old tacos or chili) She had chicken corn chowder the other night

cut smaller, cooked longer, less seasoning

and breastmilk, LOTS of breastmilk

i hane man boobs and they dont work. But I think we've figured out a good strategy. trying to get her through this shake thang.

I didn't really do baby food either. I pureed a lot of our foods for a while, longer with our first. I think we started handing Jess hamburgers at 6 mos!

you should have seen her with homemade mac n cheese last night, hilarious!!  She picked up one,,examined it,,put it in her mouth, made the "hmmmmmmmm" face,,and then her eyes lit up and she started 2 fisting it, lmao
