We missed all the shows this past summer, but we don't want to keep missign the music.
I'm sorta worried about bringing the baby to shows. Sometimes there are some sketchy mofo's.
Also for those parents who are bringing in their kids. Where to you draw the line? do you still partake in all the fun? or do you find yourself going to sleep earleir?

we have brought our kids to certain fests since 3 months old. But I am very particular on which fests. Cate's first was Vibes 2005 at 3 mos. Jessica's first was Vibes 07 at 6 mos but vibes was smaller then. We stick to the worm fests & greyfox now- they are very family friendly.
We definitely go to bed earlier now. Many couples will switch off nights, allowing each partner to get a party night. I rarely last long so I usually go out & 'party' & then I go to bed so Frank goes out after that 
I think they key is that at least 1 of you is 'sober' enough to deal with things that could potentially go wrong in the middle of the night. Kids get sick, shit happens & someone has to be able to deal.

Ha, I sell hoops at Festies all summer long. I just had a baby April of 2011. She went everywhere with us last year and will forever more.
Yes, there are major sketch, but not where we were....I barely saw anything at all. And no, I do not partake when I have the baby and either does husband. But then again, we're there to work and enjoy the music and such. Not to party. It's our summer income.
