im not worried about that baby! he looks tough! i wouldnt want to run into him in a dark alley! 
seriously i have nothing but the best feelings. i can only imagine how scary and upsetting it might be to have him there in the nicu but from what u say he seems like a fighter! he will kick his way home, i know it!
when joe was born i couldnt hold him right away, i had to wait like an hour bc i was in such a bad way from the c-section, my blood pressure dropped so low (diastolic all the way to 26!) anyway it broke my heart to wait that hour so i cant imagine what you are dealing with! sounds tough but im sure he will be fine. my niece and nephew (twins) were born about 60 days early and today they are 3 years old and youd never know they had any setbacks when they were tiny, they are very healthy and very charming toddlers!
