every time i see a prospective match that happens to be online it gives me the option to im them but nobody ever answers! WTF!?

my brother met his husband on match.com as well. still, i think roo may find what he's looking for more easily on AFF, too.
(unless he edits his post to add something about her gentle spirit or kindness to those less fortunate or which way her tp rolls face or something...)
as for this board, i know there are some women who fit that (awesome!) description around here. no idea if that's ALL they want though, which i guess is the real question.

I was on there once years ago, and landed a kinky finnish chick that I was with for three years... but that was a complete fluke... but that was after countless lame ass encounters.

i'd be more considered a biker without a bike than a hippie.
The Match demographic is tough to break through to, but regardless of the type of woman she is - she is getting 100 times the emails and IM's that any dudes are getting. My gal pals who have done Match say that they get TONS of email and just ignore 99% of it.

When you sign up for a dating site, oftentimes over 90% of the responses you get are bs spam. They are inevitably from "women" who are in europe or africa and need your assistance with whatever situation, just please email and be ready to wire money.
One would think that paid, subscription dating websites would have a way to **** out the scammers.

I would say don't give up. Finding someone your compatible with from a dating site takes time. There are also other sites out there that might be easier like green singles, or even free sites like okcupid. It took me a 7 months to find someone that lasted more then 2 - 4 dates. Funny part is she contacted me.

Too much BS on AFF in my experience. Camgirls and the like. I had profile there for a couple of years, and in that time, made one lasting connection, and had to deal with a whole lot of crazy to find that.
Kinda groovin' on OKC of late. Actually thinking of changing my profile to say I'm taking a break, because I don't have time to meet everyone I'm chatting with and balance an already full life. My bride has had some luck with OKC as well.
Might be worth a shot...
