in November 2011, my Aunt Vicky went in for her yearly normal physical.
She spent the entire day in Dr's offices, and getting tests. She had cancer of the everything (ovaries, cervix, stomach, lungs, liver)
She's had 1 surgery and been going thru lots of chemo.
in November of 2012, the CT scan revealed it had spread to her brain. At Christmas 2012, she was 5ft4 and weighed 70 pounds.
She was rushed to the hospital last night because she couldn't breathe. The Dr's aren't expecting her to make it through the night.

It's just a matter of time now. The Dr's told my Uncle that she could linger on the machines for weeks, or they could disconnect them and she would be gone in 15-20 minutes. Mema took Uncle Randy home (he's my Mom's older brother), and he took Micheaux (his husky) for a walk, and Mema washed his dishes, folded his laundry and made him dinner. He's going to call us tomorrow when it's over.
