Saw him a couple years ago at Wannee. Dude is probably 122 years old and had to be helped to a chair on stage. But when they handed him that guitar, holy crap. That old fella can SHRED!

Cripes, I was at a party about 20 years ago, and Johnny was there. He didn't look too good then.

He sure can play. He was always a great talent, but the record companies wanted him to be the next Clapton. That wasn't his style. After he told them to eat shit, and went his own way, he was awesome...

most recently i saw him a few years back. he was sitting and cranked out a ripping 75 minute set!
